For more than a century my family has lived in District 2. I was born and raised in southwest Leon County, specifically Fort Braden area, and I am raising my family here with my wife of 20 years, Kerry Prosser. We have three sons: Finn (15), Eastton (13) and Gunner (9).
Both my parents and wife pursued higher learning education and are graduates of Florida State University. While I value higher learning, it's not for everyone. We need to embrace and encourage our local government and trade workers within our community. They are the forgotten majority in District 2. I will always fight for the working class.

I am proud to currently work as a public servant. For the last sixteen years, I have been fortunate to work as a substation electrician for the City of Tallahassee. Through my blue-collar work experience I understand the importance of helping others. I believe helping others will be the best part of being a county commissioner. I want a better Government not a bigger Government.
District 2 is unique, so much of it being national or state forests, along with numerous lakes and rivers. I will always defend these resources and support public use as intended. Working with federal, state, and local officials to ensure proper utilization and consistent maintenance of forests, lakes and rivers is a priority.
Together, I know we can make this the best district in the county. I will work toward lowering taxes, maintaining roads, and working with local law enforcement for the safest streets and communities in which we live.
I look forward to meet you all soon.
